What you will do:
- Contribute to the development and management of a new SMA offering. Maintain and update SMA portfolios over time
- Process and execute individual bond trades
- Respond to questions regarding SMA portfolios and occasionally interact with clients and prospects
- Increase efficiency through process improvement, relating to both portfolio construction and implementation
- Help answer portfolio management related questions from clients
- Potential to write market related commentary for advisors or clients
- Support launch of new investment products or services through interaction with product, engineering, marketing, and other groups
- Update and create core content and marketing materials
- General support for Investment Committee as needed
- Ad hoc projects as needed
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- 5+ years investment industry experience.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in their current and/or previous roles, including significant experience dealing with portfolio model management and implementation of investment services at scale. They will be able to execute at a high standard in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, self-motivated, and effective at working with multiple groups across the company. Light to moderate travel may be required.
What will set you apart:
- CFP® and/or CFA designation preferred
- Ability to understand statistics and manipulate large data sets
- Comfortable in periodic client facing role
- Passion for learning about and studying capital markets
- Must be detail oriented and highly proficient in Excel.
- Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work
- Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills
